Hi everyone,

We wanted to share a quick update on fulfilment progress.

UK & EU – Table Topper

Good news - Table Topper dispatch for UK and EU orders has now been approved and will begin shortly. If you’re waiting for a Table Topper, please keep an eye on your inbox as tracking emails will start going out as orders are processed.

 North America

For our US & Canada backers, we’re currently coordinating with our fulfilment partner to begin dispatch as soon as possible. Their team has been attending GAMA Expo this week, which has limited warehouse operations, but we expect fulfilment to begin next week.

 Rest of World

For backers outside the UK/EU and North America, our fulfilment partner has recently reopened after the Chinese New Year holiday period. We’re currently waiting for their shipping schedule and expect to have clearer timing very soon.

Thank you again for your patience while we work through the final stages of fulfilment. It’s fantastic to hear so many of you already receiving and playing Shape Invaders, and we’re excited to get the remaining orders out as quickly as possible.

We’ll continue to share updates as shipments progress.

Stretch Goals Gameplay + Fulfilment Update

Hi everyone

We’re pleased to share that UK & EU fulfilment is now underway, with orders being packed and dispatched from the warehouse. Tracking emails will follow as parcels are processed.

For US fulfilment, our partners, Bridge, have now received the stock. They’re currently managing a busy intake schedule over the next week, and we’re coordinating with them on the dispatch timetable. We’ll confirm as soon as US fulfilment is scheduled to begin.

For Rest of World, we’ll share further information as soon as fulfilment timings are confirmed.

Stretch Goals

As copies of Shape Invaders start landing on tables, we wanted to share how to use the Asteroid Blockers ☄️ and Black Hole 🌌 stretch goals included with your game.

These additions bring new tactical options and a bit of extra chaos to the arena, so here’s everything you need to know to get started.

Asteroid Blockers☄️

You'll get 3 x Asteroid blockers

Set up & Play

• The player that sets up their fleet formation first, chooses which player places the first of the three Asteroid blockers into the battlefield.  Placing the first asteroid will mean that player positions 2 asteroids, but the second player will flick from their fleet first.
• Once placed, a player cannot deliberately flick an asteroid during their turn. Players only flick their fleet pieces.
• If an asteroid is knocked out of the playing field, it remains out of play.
• Advanced/Alternate Rule  Each turn instead of flicking a fleet piece, a player can choose to move one Asteroid to 10cm (4 inches) away from an opponent’s piece. Then their turn ends. 

Black Hole 🌌

• Set up: Peel away from the backing sheet.
• The black hole is placed in the middle of the playing arena.
• If a piece is flicked so that more than 50% of the piece is inside the hole, it is lost to the black hole and removed from play.
• If a mothership is lost to the black hole it can be respawned by any remaining shield.

Fulfilment Update 🚢🚚

Hi everyone,

We’re really excited to share some great progress as we move closer to getting Shape Invaders into your hands!

UK & Europe  - Almost There! 

European shipments have now arrived in the UK and are currently clearing customs. Shipping addresses have been locked, and all being well, we expect fulfilment to begin towards the end of next week.

North America - Next Up!  

The US shipment is currently expected to arrive next week, and we’re planning to lock addresses then. Once the shipment arrives, it typically takes around ten days to clear customs and reach our fulfilment warehouse, so we’re expecting fulfilment to begin w/c 23rd February.

 Rest of World (ROW)

Rest of World fulfilment is handled by our partner VFI. We’re currently waiting for confirmation that stock has been received at their Shanghai hub. Once received, VFI typically requires 2–3 weeks to process stock and prepare it for fulfilment.

As many of you will soon be receiving Shape Invaders, we’ll be sharing details very shortly on how to use the Asteroid Blockers and Black Hole stretch goals.

Shipping Progress & Delivery Timeline Update

Hi everyone,

It’s been a little while since our last update, and we’re happy to say that we’re now moving into the fulfilment stage, so we’d like to share a clear snapshot of where shipping stands across the regions.

Address Locking in BackerKit

We lock addresses as close to fulfilment as possible so backers can make any necessary changes themselves. This helps avoid delivery issues caused by address changes and ensures orders reach you smoothly once fulfilment begins.

Current Shipping & Fulfilment Timelines

Based on the latest information from our freight forwarders, here’s what we’re currently expecting:

UK & Europe

• 🔒 Address lock (BackerKit): Planned for 27th Jan
• 🚢 Shipment expected to land in the UK: Around 2nd Feb
• 📦 Fulfilment expected to begin: Week commencing 9th Feb

North America

• 🔒 Address lock (BackerKit): Planned for 4th Feb
• 🚢 Shipment expected to land: Around 9th Feb
• 📦 Fulfilment expected to begin: Week commencing 23rd Feb

Please note that ETAs can shift slightly as factors such as weather at sea can affect arrival dates. 

🌍 Rest of World (ROW)

Rest of World fulfilment is handled via our partner VFI. We’re currently waiting for confirmation on fulfilment dates and will share an update as soon as these are confirmed.

Production & Shipping Update

Hi everyone,

We’re incredibly happy to share that all units are now fully produced and we are finally shipping.

We know this stage has taken around four weeks longer than planned, and we want to be transparent about why. Throughout production we carried out additional rounds of quality control, including sending components back for rework whenever they didn’t meet the standard we were aiming for. It slowed us down, but delivering something we’re truly proud of mattered more than rushing it out the door.

A Note About Xmas Delivery

Although shipping has now begun, freight and fulfilment timelines mean that your orders will not arrive before Christmas. We know many of you were hoping to play Shape Invaders over the holidays or give it as a gift, and we understand how disappointing this news is. We are truly sorry. We hope however, that when your order arrives, you’ll feel it was worth waiting for.

When you open these games and tabletops, we want you to feel like you've got something really special, with unique design that's great to play.

Thank you once again for sticking with us, and for the excitement, patience and support you’ve shown throughout this journey. We’re almost there now and your copies are on their way!
